We first met in 1999, and after 18 years of making music together he has become my old brother. The Silk Road Ensemble is like my family. I also want to thanks to the support of Asia Society, this family continues to thrive, not only making music but also making a change in the world we live in.</p><p>When I first received the email talk me about the award, I just fell，I thought it was a mistake. How could I be a Game Changer like these other great great people here tonight? So thank you all for this beautiful mistake happen，I will try to be worthy of this honor.</p><p>We all live in a very complex and beautiful world where people always want more. But in the past few years, I’ve discovered the important Chinese ancient wisdom-- of having less. Less stuff can mean more meaning, more freedom, more time to focus on the things that are truly important. I really do believe a simple life can be the richest.
